Betti Lu's was established in 1971, but the retail tradition began with Betti Lu's father, Bill Wermerskirchen, Sr., opening Bill's Toggery, clothing for men in 1931. Betti Lu draws from her background to provide a unique combination of city sophistication and small town service for her customers. This tradition has continued with Betti Lu's daughter, Molly, as manager.
